The consensus process usually is prescribed with a threshold. This process was used in the #occupy movement.
Praxis
Within Sensorica Loomio (a tool) was used to build consensus. This consists of a discussion section where those involved formulate opinions and arguments with the goal of bridging views and crafting a text that describes a course of action that satisfies the great majority. The consensus building process is then followed by a lazy democracy process to officialize the course of action.
