Repository

Refers to a place (virtual or physical) destined for storage.

A repository of information, for example, is a place where an agent (individual or organization) stored documents. There are a lot of repository services that have been built on web2, platforms such as Github or Hitlab for code, or 3D Wearehouse for 3D models, providing not only storage, but also a variety of collaborative tools.
