The output of a process. Not all processes have (clear) deliverables.

Can be a product (a good or a service).

Collaborative ventures do not rely necessarily on market transactions. In other words, in order to be sustainable they may rely on ecosystem services. They do not produce commodities, or goods to be exchanged on the market. They acquire their means of subsistence from actors in the ecosystem that they contribute to maintain - through their ecosystem services. Thus, the term deliverables is a more generic term to be used in the context of open ventures and OVNs
