there are regulatory mechanisms in an ecosystem.
There are 4 rules that govern ecosystems
- There are keystone agents (affiliates, members) if you take them out the ecosystem will suffer greatly.
- Some actors have important effects on others. These are trophic cascades.
- Food regulated pattern: access to necessities, resources, supplies, which controls the populations within an ecosystem.
- Resiliency of a diverse ecosystem - it comes back fast if the habitat or the conditions are there, through internal regeneration or migration from the exterior.
There are 5 universal values: care, honesty, responsibility, respect and fairness.
